Let's Change our Minds
I know, I know. Women are always changing their minds.
That's not what I'm talking about here.
God commands us in Romans 12:2 to renew our minds.
Well, that began Sunday, August 14, when the women of APBC gathered and opened the study "Fight Like a Girl." Lisa Bevere, teacher and author, showed us how enmity was established between women and their seed when Eve took the bite from the fruit of the tree of knowledge and good evil.
At that point, time began and enmity was established between Satan and the woman's seed:
- Dominion changed to domination
- Multiplication became division
- Order turned into chaos
The flourishing environment of the earth began to decay.
But, Jesus changed all of that. He brought redemption and restoration.
Our challenge is to understand and discover that which He restored. The awesome creature of "woman" is being called forth in this study.
The voice of women are important to the battlefield.

Author Note I'm Janet Brister and am facilitating the study. I thought it would be nice to sum up our classes each week and remind those in class what the assignment is, etc.
It's not too late to join our Bible study. We meet from 5:00-6:30 pm (roughly) and keep a pretty fast pace. If you need childcare, let us know. I think we can arrange something!
Assignment: Read chapter 1 and complete exercises in the workbook. Bring a magazine that focuses on worldviews.
