“Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other."

Isaiah 45:22 is a short verse, but it is one with an ocean of truth on how a person can know whether he or she is on their way to heaven. Bro. David shares all that we can glean from this simple statement about Jesus's promise of salvation.

Despite their important roles, it is not the church or the Bible that have the ability to save us: it is only possible directly through Jesus Christ.  Therefore, we must look to and trust Him alone for salvation. Your faith in God should serve as a focus so that you remember that all salvation comes from Him. This offer of salvation applies equally to everyone on earth, no matter their religion. A preacher of the gospel has something to offer everyone because everyone needs God's forgiveness and forgiveness can only be found through Jesus Christ. Jesus died for us all so that everyone who calls on Him receives the same salvation. Jesus as the source of salvation is one of the most common themes in the Bible.

All you must do is look to him and believe for Jesus to become your personal savior. Jesus's salvation is a gift freely given, but it must be received. If you keep your eyes on Jesus you'll never walk alone because He will be with you throughout life's difficulties.
