The Sower, Seed, and Soil

Matthew 13:1-9, 18-28

Jesus’s preaching of parables helped present the truth of God’s word in a way we can understand and relate to. God as the sower creates all life through the seed of the gospel. We are represented by soil, the catalyst with which to grow that seed into fruit. Christ calls us to be fertile soil, through which the gospel prospers in abundance.
