A Faith That Will Not Sink
How is your journey of faith?
God is looking for a faith that won’t sink. He longs to build in each of us obedience in spite of perceived obstacles or lousy odds.
Noah modeled that faith. In the days of Noah, people's corruption on the earth had reached a peak. And even though Noah was the moral voice of the community, they continued in their sin.
So, God gave some pretty impossible directions to Noah. He asked this man who had never seen rain, who lived no where near a body of water, to build a big boat. Noah obeyed. He centered his life around God and “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” God counted his faith as righteousness and, just as we are saved by faith through grace, so Noah was saved.
